    • 9:15 amKeynote - Let's build a pyramid out of data instead of stones
      Rečníci
Ing. Ján Liguš, PhD., M-D-J spol. s r.o.
      9:15 am - 10:15 am

In this presentation, we will introduce the emergence of the posthuman environment and how we face the exponential growth of interconnected computer systems, networks, software agents, and related energy challenges. We will show how we are moving from mesh topologies of artificial intelligence to an optimized hierarchical pyramid of real-time control suitable for managing complex systems. We will present a three-level 3C architecture (organizational, coordination, and execution levels) built on cybernetic principles, including the concept of the 3C neuron and the implementation site of AI algorithms. We will reveal the "stones" of AI tools used in practice today and their integration into control layers. Finally, we will demonstrate the prediction of meteorological profiles for optimizing energy systems and applications of neural networks, neuro-fuzzy reasoning, and genetic algorithms in real time.

      Rečníci
Vladimír Orovnický, Daikin Airconditioning Central Europe - Slovakia s.r.o.
      10:30 am - 10:50 am

Climate changes lead to a growing need for cooling in Slovakia as well, which increases the demand for electricity. The presentation focuses on the analysis of residential air conditioning consumption in 2023-2024 at both national and regional levels. It assesses the impact of outdoor temperature on energy intensity and compares the differences in operation between countries with and without dynamic tariffs. The findings highlight the importance of intelligent "smart" control in the context of energy efficiency and grid stability.

    • 10:50 amWhen School and Business Work as a Team
      Rečníci
      RNDr. Renáta Valeková, Duálna Akadémia
      10:50 am - 11:10 am

Dual education is an effective way to connect theoretical learning in schools with practical experience in real working environments. This system brings various challenges, such as ensuring high-quality placements for students and coordinating between schools and companies. On the other hand, it also offers numerous opportunities, including better graduate readiness for the labor market and improved employability.

The success story of the Dual Academy demonstrates how this system can benefit all involved parties. The Dual Academy motivates students through various programs and initiatives that allow them to gain practical skills and hands-on experience directly from professionals in their field.

    • 11:25 amHeat (Cold) Storage
      Rečníci
Ján Sadlek, KOOR, s.r.o.PhD. Alexis Sevault, Certasian AS
      11:25 am - 11:45 am

The use of heat storage in the past has gradually changed with the technological development of products. With the advent of greening the production structure of energy sources and market conditions for energy, it is necessary to return to storage to a greater extent. This is particularly desirable for renewable energy sources and combined heat and power generation. The form of storage implementation depends on the local operating conditions.

      Rečníci
      Barbora Balunová, L/R/P advokáti, s.r.o.
      2:00 pm - 2:15 pm

Sustainability is not ESG and can be a driver for business. Major changes in ESG reporting will impact a large part of the business sector. We will present the key changes, provide guidance on how to get started with ESG and, especially, how to turn ESG into new opportunities.

    • 3:30 pmInnovations in EPC Business Models: The Key to Urban Energy Transformation
      Rečníci
Ing. Marcel Lauko, PhD., Energy Centre Bratislava s.r.o.
      3:30 pm - 3:50 pm

Energy Performance Contracting (EPC) represents a proven tool for increasing energy efficiency of public buildings without direct impact on public debt. However, new legislation and Eurostat methodology requirements limit the use of EPC only to energy-payback measures, thus preventing comprehensive building renovation in a single project. The presentation will introduce innovative business models that combine EPC with construction contracts and various forms of financing, thereby enabling the implementation of more extensive renovation projects including non-energy components. The discussion will focus on barriers, solutions, and practical examples of using these models as tools for urban modernization and sustainability.

    • 3:50 pmHoval Hybrid System for Heat Production Using Renewable Energy
      Rečníci
Milan Hadbavný, HOVAL SK spol. s r.o.
      3:50 pm - 4:10 pm

The aim of the lecture is to present a systematic approach to the design of a hybrid heating system. An optimal combination of heat pump technology and the advantages of a gas boiler requires an analysis of the installation site and operating conditions. We will demonstrate the design process and basic connection schemes. At the end of the lecture, we will present several reference examples of hybrid systems.
