During his nearly four-year tenure as the First Deputy Mayor of Poprad, he primarily focused on energy, smart city initiatives, and education. He was involved in establishing the Poprad Energy Company and the Slovak Smart City Cluster. He co-authored the Poprad City Development Program with a vision extending to 2040, as well as the Smart City Poprad Concept. Currently, he serves as a member of the Poprad City Council, a representative in the Prešov Self-Governing Region, and a member of the Education Commission.
