Alexis is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Cartesian AS, a thermal energy storage technology company, spinned-out of the Norwegian research institute SINTEF. He co-founded Cartesian in 2023 together with 3 associates. Before that, Alexis was the Research Manager for the Energy Storage team in the department of Thermal Energy at SINTEF. He holds a PhD degree since 2012 in the field of thermodynamics and has then focused on thermal energy storage & processes.
