Dr. Michal Chudý
Dr. Michal Chudý is an expert in smart energy solutions with more than 15 years of research experience in various fields related to energy, specifically in nuclear physics, superconductivity, thermonuclear fusion, wind energy and energy grid efficiency. He holds a PhD. (Dr. techn.) from the Technical University of Vienna and received a fellowship at Clare Hall College at the University of Cambridge. He has led research projects at the University of Cambridge, the University of Pretoria in South Africa as well as STU in Bratislava, and was part of projects at CERN and JINR Dubna.
Since 2016, he has been dedicated to applying research into practice in the field of flexibility aggregation and virtual power plants. He is a co-founder of Virtual PowerLabs and PowereX, where he focuses on the use of advanced optimization methods, including linear programming, for the efficient management of energy systems. He currently leads technological research and development at PowereX.
