Alexis is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Cartesian AS, a thermal energy storage company that he founded together with 3 associates in 2023. Alexis was previously the Research Manager for the Energy Storage group at SINTEF Energy Research (Norway). He holds a PhD degree since 2012 in thermodynamics. Renown expert in Thermal Energy Storage technologies, he designed the first Thermal Box pilot deployed in 2021 and is behind the innovations that led to establish Cartesian.
