Mr Pasi Tuominen is the Ambassador of Finland to the Czech Republic and Slovakia. He has served as Head of Mission at the Embassy of Finland in Prague since 2022. Prior to his current position, Ambassador Tuominen served as Director General for the Consular Services, Ambassador of Finland to Hungary and Slovenia. Tuominen joined the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland in 1997 and has held several positions, such as Director of Consular Services, and gained experience at the Embassy of Finland in Sweden. Ambassador Tuominen was born in Tampere, Finland, in 1965. He holds a Master of Laws from the University of Helsinki and a Master of Social Sciences from the University of Tampere. He is also trained on the bench and holds a military rank of a Major in the reserve.
