Branislav Zigo

PhD Student

Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics, Comenius University in Bratislava

He works at the Department of Applied Informatics at the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics of Comenius University in Bratislava. His research focuses on human–robot interaction and Vision-Language-Action models, which integrate natural language, visual perception, and sensor data with robotic actions. He is particularly interested in robots’ understanding of their environment, precise robotic manipulation, and safe human–robot collaboration in environments with frequent physical interaction. Before returning to academia, he spent more than two decades working in industry and business in IT and consulting. In his lectures, he combines a technical perspective on AI and robotics with practical aspects of deployment, risks, and regulation.
